Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11
The weekend promises many activities for children – young and old. Children’s entertainers, a magician, petting zoo, a pet show and parade, baby contest, storytelling with our local librarian, craft corner and activity stations, arcade with old-fashioned games, frog jumping and races will all take place in our Kid Zone.
Also featured this year is the return of the Antique Steam Show. Three large steamers will demonstrate trades of the past such as threshing and shingle milling. In addition, many smaller displays of antique tools and steam engines will be on sight as reminders of our heritage. There will also be a display of antique tractors and a 1913 Ford driving around. While there, check out the Purina Feed Barn and the chain saw carving talents of Fleetwood Studios – to name a couple of our special attractions.
